This also means that there should be an alt season. However, the market has changed. It’s not that easy anymore to find that gem that can do a 100x or even better. There are many reasons for this. For example, distribution. There are too many altcoins and projects. Memecoins also sucked a lot of liquidity out of the market. So, instead of chasing that 100x or 500x token, I’m a bit more conservative now. I’m happy with a 10x. So, here’s a list of three altcoins that can perform that 10x.Ondo Finance ($ONDO)My first 10x altcoins pick is Ondo Finance and its $ONDO token. With Ondo, we’re in the RWA sector, one of the, if not THE hottest sectors in crypto right now. Ondo Finance is in the middle of attention for all the right reasons. For example, their team was recently in talks with the SEC Crypto Task Force. Here they discussed tokenization and the future of digital asset regulation. Ondo takes regulation seriously. It wants clear regulation for RWA and the crypto sector in general. Part of their strategy is Wall Street 2.0. These are their Global Markets. However, these are not yet available in the US. There are thousands of tokenized coins. On their Global Markets, these are backed 1:1 by bonds, stocks, and ETFs. That is besides their own two flagship stables, $USDY and $OUSG. These are both yieldcoins. Both backed by short-term US Treasuries. However, they offer nonstop onchain yield. Currently, Ondo has over 150,000 holders. Ondo also claims to hold 85% of the entire tokenized US Treasury market. This was on the back of a Pokémon rumor. Pokémon launched new digital souvenirs called Medals. Another name for NFTs, without revealing that they are NFTs. The current $SUI price is around $3.50. It looks like $SUI may be ready to break out. Maybe we see first a small pull back, however, after that, it may take off.Plume Network ($PLUME)With Plume Network ($PLUME) we’re back in the RWA sector. It’s also the last token on today’s altcoins list. I already talked about Ondo today, which is the current RWA market leader. Ondo has the largest market cap of all RWA projects. In contrast, Plume Network has a mid-sized market cap. So, higher risk but also a potential higher ROI. Ondo mainly targets institutions. On the other hand, Plume aims for both. Plume offers more features aimed at the retail market. Plume has, for example, its own blockchain. RWAs ask for specific features that many existing chains can’t deliver. Hence, it has its own chain. The chain offers three core components.Plume Passport — This is Plume’s RWAfi wallet. It covers all protocols (18+) on Plume for lending, trading, and everything that Plume offers. The Passport has built in compliance and is gas free.Arc — This is their tokenization engine. You can tokenize everything within minutes. It’s currently under development. However, it should go live any time soon. Arc should bring at least $4 billion worth of RWAs onchain. For example, in private credit, energy transition, global government bonds, royalty assets, and more.Nexus — This is Plume’s data provider, or oracle solution. Onchain dApps can’t communicate with the real world. That’s where oracles come to the rescue. It works together with various well-established oracle providers. For instance, Supra, a cross-chain oracle. Nexus also powers Cultured. This is a prediction market.Plume Network Tokens, $PLUME and $pUSDThe current $PLUME price is around 18 cents. This may pull back before the final bull run leg starts in all earnest. At least, that’s the general expectation. $PLUME’s market cap is $358 million, so plenty of room for growth.
