US Stock Market Open: Ethereum Treasury Companies Surge Together, GameSquare Soars 42%
BlockBeats News, July 16th, according to market data, concept stocks related to cryptocurrency saw a general rise at the opening of the US stock market. Ethereum Treasury companies led the gains, including:
GameSquare surged 42%. On July 9th, GameSquare's board approved the phased establishment of an Ethereum Treasury with a total value of up to $100 million;
BTCS surged 23.66% and has been officially included in the Russell Microcap Index. Yesterday evening, it purchased 2,731 ETH, bringing its total ETH holdings to 31,855;
Bit Digital rose by 12.56% and announced yesterday its plan to raise $67.3 million through a private placement to purchase Ethereum;
The "ETH Version of MicroStrategy," SharpLink Gaming, surged over 13%;
MicroStrategy rose by 1.3%; Circle rose by 4.6%; Riot rose by 4%.
