Today, data reported CMC listed multiple top-performing assets that have attracted investors’ interest. Top 7 performers today XRP (XRP) XRP emerged as the top performer in today’s virtual currency market. The asset recorded a price growth of 5.36% from yesterday, bolstered by positive sentiment among XRP holders regarding favorable developments in the SEC-Ripple legal battle. First, the SEC placed its case against Ripple on hold last month. In another positive move, last week on May 7, the regulator reduced Ripple’s $125 million fine to $50 million, and in effect quashed the rest of the case. XRP has surged by 370% since Trump won his re-election, currently trading at $2.55, up 21.5% and 14.9% over the past week and one month, respectively. Monero (XMR) Second on the list is Monero (XMR), which registered a price rise of 1.30% from yesterday. Besides today’s gain, Monero has been developing impressive momentum with 19.3%, 65.1%, and 152.8% gains over the past week, month, and year, respectively. This shows the asset’s potential and a growing market confidence in the platform. PAX Gold (PAXG) PAX Gold (PAXG), a gold-backed cryptocurrency, took the third position with a price hike of 1.05%. Its price is currently standing at $3,266.55, a surge that reflects the robust performance of physical gold. This shows a growing user demand for the tokenized asset. Tether Gold (XAUT) Tether Gold (XAUT), another digital asset backed by physical gold, secured the fourth place with a 1.05% price surge. Today, XAUT’s value hovers at $3,256.69, a strong performance that mirrors increased demand for gold in the global markets, fuelled by improving geopolitical and macroeconomic conditions. UNUS SED LEO (LEO) UNUS SED LEO (LEO), a native token of Bitfinex, secured the fifth position with a 0.96% price jump. The altcoin has displayed impressive recovery and growth capability, supported by its token burn initiative and strong relationship with Bitfinex, one of the oldest exchanges in the crypto market. LEO’s potential is evident in its recent growth. Its value is currently standing at $8.60, up 45.7% over the past year. Others Other top gainers in today’s market include FORM, KCS, and LTC. Four (FORM) occupied the sixth place with a 0.78% price increase. FORM was followed by the KuCoin token (KCS), which registered a 0.61% price rise.
