WEEX obtains Bitcoin Service Provider License (BSP) issued by the Salvadoran government
Recently, WEEX officially obtained the Bitcoin Service Provider License (BSP License) issued by the Salvadoran government, further improving its global compliance layout. The acquisition of the BTC SP license means that WEEX can legally provide services in El Salvador, including：Bitcoin custody services；Digital exchanges or trading platforms；Bitcoin digital wallets and Payment processing services.
Previously, WEEX announced that its global headquarters was officially located in the core financial district of Dubai, and formed an international office team of more than 600 people in the local area, becoming one of the largest crypto asset trading platform offices in Dubai. The acquisition of the Salvadoran Bitcoin Service Provider License also demonstrates WEEX's steady pace and strategic foresight in its global compliance strategy.
Andrew Weiner, Vice President of WEEX, said: “We always adhere to compliance first and steadily advance our globalization strategy in countries with clear regulatory systems. El Salvador is forward-looking and transparent in digital asset regulation, which is very attractive to crypto-compliant companies like WEEX that focus on long-term value and stable operations. In the future, we will continue to strengthen cooperation with regulators to promote the healthy development of the cryptocurrency industry ecosystem.”
