Fogo (FOGO) is a high-performance SVM-based Layer-1 blockchain specifically designed for on-chain trading. Built on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) and utilizing the Firedancer client, it aims to deliver ultra-low latency, near-instant finality, and unparalleled scalability. Fogo seeks to eliminate "taxes" in trading—such as latency taxes, friction taxes, and bot taxes—enabling traders to react faster, protect profits, and support real-time financial applications.
